Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: 'Weak minds and leaders challenge loyalty to our country in order to avoid challenging and debating the policy.'
President Donald Trump extended his online attacks of progressive Democratic congresswomen on Monday, asking when they will apologize to the U.S. adding a host of new and unsubstantiated charges.
Without naming the lawmakers, he appeared to be referring to what has come to be known as a"squad" of progressive freshman women of color, which includes Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., and Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass. The four lawmakers held a press conference Monday afternoon."This is simply a disruption and a distraction from the callous, chaotic and corrupt culture of this administration, all the way down," she added.
Ocasio-Cortez had a message for American children,"No matter what the president says, this country belongs to you and it belongs to everyone." ....They are anti-Israel, pro Al-Qaeda, and comment on the 9/11 attack, “some people did something.” Radical Left Democrats want Open Borders, which means drugs, crime, human trafficking, and much more....
It's important to note that the President's words yday, telling four American Congresswomen of color"go back to your own country," is hallmark language of white supremacists. JUST IN:"I didn't mention names," President Trump says when asked about his tweets on Democratic congresswomen. "Not at all," President Trump says when asked if his tweets targeting Democratic congresswomen of color were racist.
The president's tweets follow a week of contention between the freshman lawmakers and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
