Nearly 50 pups have been saved from brutal slaughter in China by rescue organization No Dogs Left Behind. Founder Jeffrey Beri shares details as the dogs anticipate their US arrival.
The remaining 14 dogs rescued are still available for adoption.

Beri reiterated how"ruthless" Chinese butchers can be, a situation that has required days of preparation on the rescue organization's end to intercept a transport truck or to gain entrance to a slaughterhouse.
