The Justice Department’s watchdog said it will release next month the results of its year-and-a-half long investigation into some of the steps the Federal Bureau of Investigation took in 2016 in its probe of Trump campaign associates and Russia.
In a letter to Congress made public Thursday, the Justice Department inspector general, Michael Horowitz, said he will make the highly anticipated report public Dec. 9 and will testify about its contents the same week.
