A street takeover incident in February that shut down the intersection of Barton Springs Road and South Lamar Boulevard in Austin prompted Gov. Greg Abbott to form a statewide task force.Police arrested multiple drivers from at least four street takeover incidents Saturday night, according to San Antonio Police Department reports.
The street takeovers occurred in areas near Pearl, South Park Mall, just north of Kelly Field and the far West Side.
