Only 35 percent of women polled in a Quinnipiac survey released Monday said they approve of President Donald Trump's performance so far.

A new poll released by Quinnipiac University has suggested a strong gender divide in approval for President Donald Trump's job performance as U.S. leader., showed at least 61 percent of women expressing disapproval for the way Trump has handled the top job in the U.S. so far, compared to 35 percent who said they did approve.

Overall, the poll, which was conducted from October 11 to 13 and saw more than 1,100 registered voters surveyed, found 41 percent of voters to be in favor of Trump's leadership so far as president, with the majority, 54 percent, expressing dissatisfaction. "The President is mired at 41 percent but no worse for the wear after another week of frenzied impeachment talk," said Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim MalloyWhat the majority of voters did agree on, however, is that it is unacceptable for a sitting president to ask a foreign country to investigate one of their political opponents, as Trump appeared to do in a July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

With Warren once again pulling ahead, Malloy said:"For Senator Warren, the third straight time essentially tied at the top is the charm. Her candidacy clearly has staying power going into the debate."
