After making landfall in Puerto Rico, Dorian is forecast to grow into Category 3 hurricane as it heads toward the east coast of Florida
The storm is approaching St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands with sustained winds of 70 miles an hour, and will strengthen before hitting Puerto Rico later today, the National Hurricane Center said Wednesday.
