Police say at least two shooters fired from a black SUV as it drove by a home in the West Akron neighborhood.
AKRON, Ohio — Police say a man suffered multiple gunshot wounds when at least two shooters in a vehicle opened fire as the victim stood in the driveway of a home in West Akron.
Police say the shooting occurred just before noon Sunday on the 1000 block of Hardesty Boulevard. The 27-year-old victim was taken to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital. He is listed in stable condition and his wound are not considered to life-threatening, police say. The shots were fired from a black SUV as it drove by the home on Hardesty Boulevard, police say. More than a dozen shell casings were found at the scene.
