Officers responded to Lakeshore Drive near Red Rock on Saturday afternoon
A driver has been charged with impaired after Sault Ste. Marie OPP officers found a vehicle in a ditch on Lakeshore Drive near Red Rock on Saturday afternoon.
“It was determined by officers that the driver had been consuming alcohol,” says a release issued by OPP. “The driver was subsequently arrested and transported to the Sault Ste. Marie OPP detachment for further testing.” As a result, 53-year-old Kent Mousseau of Dennis Township is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 11 to face charges of:
• Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs, contrary to Section 320.14 of the Criminal Code Mousseau was issued a 90-day administrative drivers licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
