An accident involving a semi-truck, a WSP patrol vehicle and a DOT truck has all but one lane of I-90 W closed in Cle Elum
CLE ELUM, Wash. — A collision caused by another crash forced a temporary full closure of westbound Interstate 90 near Cle Elum early Monday morning, theA semi-truck rolled over and crashed at around 9:40 p.m. on Sunday night, according to the Washington State Patrol .
The 43-year-old driver of the truck was transported to the hospital. That driver is accused of negligent driving, according to the WSP press memo.While crews were on scene, a vehicle drove into the closed I-90 WB lane and collided with a WSDOT"Road Warrior" vehicle, which is an attenuator truck. The second crash caused a full closure of the WB I-90 lanes, although the roadway was later reopened.
No further information was available on the condition of the driver who collided with the WSDOT vehicle, but the agency said its crews"nearly missed being hit and seriously injured." to stay up-to-date on news stories from across western Washington.
