BREAKING: A driver is dead after crashing into a moving train, causing a derailment in east Montgomery County Monday morning, authorities say.
The East Montgomery Fire Department said officials received reports of a train with about 16 rail cars derailed at around 7:30 a.m. along Highway 59 and Midline Road.
A red-colored truck that appeared to have split in half was discovered near the rail cars, according to photos posted on theNo rail cars were damaged and no additional injuries were reported.
