Officers with the Seguin Police Department shot and killed a driver who they say refused to comply during a traffic stop and then fired upon them.
The incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. in the area of North State Highway 123 Bypass and Mockingbird Lane, located in Seguin.
Police said two of the passengers from inside the vehicle followed the commands of officers, however, the driver refused to comply. At some point around 4:45 a.m., shots were fired for an unknown reason between the driver and officers. The driver was shot and killed, police said.
