An Evening with Dwight Yoakam & The Bakersfield BeatFor this exclusive residency, Yoakam will treat the audience to a musical exploration and storytelling of the history of sounds emerging from Bakersfield, California, beginning with the Dust Bowl era.
Yoakam will perform a variety of the music that influenced and created the Bakersfield and California country-rock genres of country music, from its early beginnings to its commercial zeniths, in addition to his own original music that was shaped and influenced by this legacy.Dwight Yoakam & The Bakersfield BeatThe Grammy-winning artist will play shows on Dec. 4, 6, 7, 10, 12 and 14. Yoakam will return to the Encore Theater stage in March 2020 for a three-night residency on March 4, 6 and 7.
