EAGLE MOUNTAIN — An Eagle Mountain man who police say would use "unnecessary force" on his 4-month-old daughter when he became emotionally distraught was arrested Wednesday after the infant was found to have multiple broken bones.

The investigation began Monday when the Utah County Sheriff's Office received a report from the Division of Child and Family Services of a possible child abuse case. Detectives spoke with the girl's mother and "learned of a history of anger issues with the father," the affidavit states.
