Eagles coach Nick Sirianni on Wednesday said he spoke with cornerback James Bradberry about his emotions for Sunday’s game against his former team.
Bradberry spent the 2020 and 2021 seasons with the Giants but was released in May to save more than $10 million on the salary cap.
New Giants general manager Joe Schoen did not want to part ways with Bradberry, but the cornerback was in the final year of a three-year, $45 million contract, and the Giants did not have the salary cap space to keep him. On the open market,, and now he and Darius Slay, the other starting cornerback, get to go against an unimpressive Giants receiver group.
Defensive lineman Leonard Williams did not practice. He was forced out of last Sunday’s loss to the Commanders. “See where he is tomorrow,’’ Daboll said.
