No team has more players on MLB Network's Top 100 ranking than Astros
Going by this list, the Astros and Mets possess the most talented rosters with each having eight players making the Top 100. The Blue Jays, Phillies and Braves each have seven players in the rankings. The Athletics, Tigers, Diamondbacks, Nationals, Reds and Rockies all were shut out.put together a list of the Top 10 players at every position
and the Astros and Mets put the most players on those rankings with eight apiece as well. However, the eight Astros who made that list vary slightly from the Top 100 rankings. Ryan Pressly, Michael Brantley and Chas McCormick all made the Top 10 list at their respective positions, but weren't in the overall Top 100. However, starting pitchers Framber Valdez, Cristian Javier and shortstop Jeremy Peña made the Top 100 after being left off the position rankings.
"The way he goes about his business at the plate, the approach, how he sits on pitches," MLB Network analyst and former big league first baseman Carlos Peña said on Thursday night's show."By the way, I was at Game 6, saw that big home run live.
