is going to be one tough dance partner to keep up with on the remix for her single “Can’t Hold Me,” premiering today exclusively onSceneryarrives on Oct. 11 via ATO Records with remixes by the likes of Taylor McFerrin, Wantigga and the previously released Wynne Bennett-produced ““When ATO approached me with the remix concept, I was really excited about the prospect of having a fresh take on these records," King tells.
The latest remix comes from North Carolina native Machinedrum, who chops up the original’s dreamy flourishes and funky backbeat to create a collage of kaleidoscopic exuberance. The intimate, sensual tension that King dances around on the original track becomes an all-out sultry affair as the new production makes space for an irresistible dance beat led by propulsive production and spacey synths.
