We chat with ItsJulieBowen about Julie Bowen the importance of Mandy and Ben's platonic relationship in her new film PromPact and why she loves the producing side of the industry:
Now streaming on Disney+, Prom Pact follows Mandy and Ben, two students who are divided when it comes to the high school experience—including their fast-approaching senior prom. But despite her opposition to all things social, Mandy indulges her best friend by asking him to the dance. However, when her fake friendship with the school's basketball star takes an unexpected turn, Mandy begins to neglect the one person who's been there for her from the start.
Julie Bowen Talks Prom Pact Screen Rant: This movie is all about Promposals, so what would your perfect Promposal include? What kind of work did you end up doing as a producer? Obviously, producers can wear a lot of different hats. But I have three kids, and we were shooting in Vancouver, and it was COVID, so Rachael babysat the set. And I could only go up occasionally. I did a lot of stuff remotely. Casting was a blast. I felt super in my comfort zone there. And obviously doing publicity, I'm super in my comfort zone.
