The failed 2016 coup attempt in Türkiye is a symbol of glorious resistance of our nation against the coups it has been subjected to throughout its history, says President Erdogan
"We have shown to friends and enemies that Türkiye can never be captured and the Turkish nation can never be brought to its knees." says President Recep Tayyip Erdogan marking the sixth anniversary of failed 2016 coup attempt.
“We will keep the spirit of July 15 alive, and we will continue to work tirelessly for TÜRKİYE FOREVER,” Erdogan said earlier in a message for July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day. “I salute every member of the nation who protected their homeland, flag, and independence with the utmost caution and valour that night,” he added.Türkiye on Friday commemorates those killed during the July 15, 2016 failed coup.
