Family of Erik Cantu reports ‘improvement’ in his condition

Authorities said Brennand saw Cantu’s parked 2008 BMW sedan in the parking lot while responding to an unrelated disturbance. Thinking the BMW was the same one that had evaded him the day before, Brennand approached the vehicle.
