A 42-year-old Everett man was convicted Thursday in U.S. District Court in Seattle after being charged with cyberstalking and making interstate threats, according to U.S. Attorney Nick Brown.

Crawford was arrested on a criminal complaint on June 2, 2022, and faces up to five years in federal prison.According to court records, Crawford repeatedly violated court-ordered restraining orders by sending threatening text messages, emails and social media messages, according to officials. Investigators said the victim is a military service member and allege Crawford also contacted the victim’s commanding officer in the Navy, sending “nude and/or intimate digital photos” of the victim and “alleged she was a prostitute.”
