A single mom who also works full time as a social worker, Griffin always wanted to be a parent. She has a daughter, Isabele, 17, and a 7-year-old son, Jonquin, whom she adopted after fostering him. She also has one foster placement, Kane, who is 7 months. Stitched Together also goes into schools and youth groups to educate students and adults about the stigma associated with the foster care system. Griffin got the idea after her son was bullied in school for being a foster kid.
