However, Lee Cronin’s Evil Dead Rise is mostly missing the humor of the original Evil Dead trilogy. With Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell’s comedic talents, Evil Dead turned into a cultural phenomenon bringing horror and comedy fans together.
Evil Dead Rise Almost Featured A Deadite Cat According to an interview with Total Film and GamesRadar+, Lee Cronin revealed that he had original drafts where Mr. Fonda’s cat was going to be turned into a Deadite. Cronin admits if budget allowed, he wanted to have the audience think Kassie and Beth are on their way to safety when they come across a Deadite cat.
