Ewan McGregor jokes his new ObiWan action figure doesn't really look like him 😂 What do you think?

Ewan McGregor says his new action figure from Obi-Wan Kenobi doesn't look quite like him. The actor is set to return as the Jedi he first portrayed in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace for the first time since 2005's conclusion of the prequel Star Wars trilogy.

The festivities of May 4th, known better as May The Fourth Be With You or Star Wars Day, provided the series with a brand-new trailer that paints an even clearer picture of what audiences can expect from Obi-Wan's newest adventure. From the blunt words of Owen Lars regarding Anakin Skywalker to the brief shots of Vader getting suited up, audiences were given a satisfying taste of all the action that's yet to come.

I got sent over my — I really did only just see this about an hour ago — my doll. They scan you. You know, they have these machines that, like, they read your body and every data point in your being is recorded. And then still, it somehow doesn’t quite look like me. I look like Richard Chamberlain in my first one from 'Episode I.' I was dead like Richard Chamberlain. I was like, ‘Maybe they had an old scan of his that they just used for me.

Action figures have had a reputation for often missing the mark on their accuracy of the actors' and actresses' faces, and it seems that Obi-Wan is no exception. The art of making an action figure is difficult enough to understand, though it still brings quite a bit of amusement. What does seem accurate is Obi-Wan's mini-arsenal, which includes both a blaster and his lightsaber.

There's only a few more weeks until the premiere of Obi-Wan Kenobi and viewers are as hyped as ever, even getting the show's hashtag to the top of Twitter's trends on multiple occasions. With both McGregor as well as Hayden Christensen returning to Star Wars, audiences are ready to see the duo hit their screens again.
