Exclusive: Carrie Underwood's New Fall-Winter Activewear Collection Is Here, And It's So Cozy
"Whenever I think of fall and winter, I think of cozy things that are soft and comfy," Underwood says."So much of my life involves traveling, and I want pieces that will work for me during that time of year.
"I really do live my life in CALIA on a daily basis, and I love that the new campaign shows what I do when I'm on the road," she says."It gives others a glimpse of what it's like being on tour and shows them how they can incorporate CALIA into their own lives. If CALIA can handle my crazy life, it can work for others, too."As you can imagine, it's no easy feat to travel the world, perform late on stage, and then get yourself to the gym in the morning.
"It definitely takes effort to make sure I can squeeze in that time with myself, but I always feel better when I do," she says."With performing on stage and being on tour, it’s no easy task, but being able to take care of myself and have an hour most days of the week is beneficial in every way."The star makes it a little easier on herself by having a workout trailer follow her tour bus on the road.
Her workout trailer has an elliptical, treadmill, free weights, kettlebells, and a cable machine, to name a few."It’s jam packed," Underwood says."I had my wishlist of gym equipment, then we played Tetris to make everything fit."with her husband , Underwood really finds that the trailer helps her stay motivated.
Now, the star stops by the grocery store on her way to the hotel to grab some healthy options."I get the food that I need for the time I’m staying there," she says."I stock the bus's fridge with healthy things, so on the road I’m not changing my lifestyle. I keep as many healthy options as possible."
