Labor Day will bring another round of hot temperatures and possible thunderstorms in Southern California during the region's extended heat wave.The prolonged heat wave in Southern California is expected to continue Monday, with triple-digit temperatures and a chance of thunderstorms.
Temperature records for the date were set or tied Sunday in Long Beach , Burbank , Oxnard and Camarillo . Some communities could see temperatures of 110 or higher on Monday, including Palm Springs, Lancaster, Encino and Northridge.
