Facebook is in full purge-mode
Facebook, in its latest purge of controversial accounts, announced Thursday that it’s scrubbing several “dangerous” personalities from its platforms, including such fringe right-wing voices as Alex Jones, Milo Yiannopoulos and Laura Loomer.
“We’ve always banned individuals or organizations that promote or engage in violence and hate, regardless of ideology,” Facebook FB, -0.26% said in a statement. “The process for evaluating potential violators is extensive and it is what led us to our decision to remove these accounts today.”Just how influential was Alex Jones' Instagram account?
