The Jefferson County Coroner's Office is trying locate relatives of Dennis Edward Hancock, 52, and Harriett Elizabeth McMillian, 65.

Dennis Edward Hancock, a 52-year-old white male, was crossing West Oxmoor Road at 1:02 a.m. Friday when he was hit by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle stopped, police said.Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said all attempts to locate Hancock’s family to notify them of his death have failed. No photo was available for Hancock.In the second case, Harriett Elizabeth McMillian, a 65-year-old Black female, died Saturday.
They found her unresponsive, and she was pronounced dead on the scene. There was no trauma or foul play, Yates said.Family members are asked to call the coroner’s office at 205-930-3603.
