One person is in the hospital after a truck crashed in east columbus
A person has died following a crash on I-70 in east Columbus Sunday afternoon One person has died after a truck crashed in east Columbus, and parts of the highway in the area are shut down.
Columbus police said a semi crashed into the overpass on I-70 WB near Mile Marker 108 just before 1 p.m. Sunday, and fluid spilled from the vehicle. One person was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition following the crash, and later died there.I-70 WB is shut down in the area as well as ramps from I-270 NB and SB as crews investigate the incident.
