'Fear The Walking Dead' may have just killed off another lead in yet another incredibly lame episode Sunday night.
'Fear The Walking Dead' continues to drag in Season 5, Episode 7 'Still Standing.'Some good, mostly bad. Let's unpack it all, shall we?
The scenes with John Dorie and Dwight were pretty good, maybe because I enjoy both characters, maybe because there was some narrative unsticking that occurred, as Dwight decided to give up the ghost after Dorie told him the truth and showed him the letter from Sherry. Mostly I find myself distracted and bored watching this show now. The whole thing is just so preposterous. The nuclear plant meltdown feels forced and unrealistic. The episode ends with sirens going off at the plant, but we all know they're going to get back in time to their magic plane that they magically fix up with magic propellers brought here on a magic balloon. Strand and Charlie already made it back to the truckstop because Morgan found them a magic truck.
