'Fear The Walking Dead' ends its fifth season with a whimper, not a bang.
and the Pioneers before tucking their tails between their legs and meekly giving in.history. Despite a few bright moments–I enjoyed the Western soundtrack and the fact that our heroes did, briefly, come up with a plan to fend off their antagonists–this was the kind of finale that should make everyone involved with its creation ashamed.Morgan, Grace and DorieLet’s get the big season-ending moment out of the way: Morgan is killed at the end of this episode.
He makes a desperate swing at her with his staff, clocking her right in the face, but she gets a shot off and it’s right in his chest. Zombies approach and she speeds off in her jeep, giving Morgan just enough time to get on his walkie-talkie and end his horrid stretch on this horrid show with a monologue into the dark.
So that’s that, I guess. Morgan is dead, and I can’t say many will shed tears at this point. But I am pretty angry about it. I’ll have more on this in a separate post, but for now I’ll just say this: Morgan was one of the very first characters to show up onLike Madison, Morgan deserved a better death. He deserved more than to be killed off by some half-baked new villain we met four episodes ago.
