All 54 members of First Baptist Fernandina Beach who were stuck in Israel after the war broke out have made it back to the United States.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Home sweet home! All 54 members of the Church group stuck in Israel after the war broke out have made it back stateside.The remaining members landed in New York and Charlotte Sunday evening to pick up their connecting flights. They're scheduled to land around midnight Monday morning.Their initial flights back home from Israel were cancelled, but they were able to get home after crossing the border into Jordan.

Congressman Aaron Bean is a member of the church, and he teamed up with several lawmakers to create several options for getting them home.Although he didn’t quite make it in time for that, he should have plenty of time to rest up before church next weekend.WTLV would like to send you push notifications about the latest news and weather.
