The community came out in full force for one of the final First Fridays of the year in Oakland.

OAKLAND — For years, thousands of attendees go to Telegraph Avenue in Oakland on the First Friday of each month for music, food, art, and community.The festival, which began in 2006, supports more than 60 vendors and small businesses. But the organization recently announced that it has run out of money to keep it going all of next year. It costs about $45,000 each month to put on the street fair and the organization said it is short about $100,000.
