The contestants return to Hollywood after performances in Hawaii to compete for America's vote.
Last week, the contestants on ABC’s “American Idol” performed at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii.“American Idol” airs on Sundays and Mondays.
On “American Idol” at 8 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2023, ABC said viewers will learn who is moving on in the singing competition.“The contestants return to Hollywood to learn the results of America’s first votes for the Top 20, performing again in hopes of securing a spot in the Top 12. ‘American Idol’ 2022 winner Noah Thompson and runner-up HunterGirl will also take the stage,” ABC said.
Sunday, April 30 will be “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Night” when ABC said, “The competition heats up as the Top 12 contestants perform for superstar judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie as America’s vote for the Top 10 is revealed LIVE coast to coast.” The Judge’s Song Contest returns on Monday, May 1, ABC said, when the judges each suggest songs for the contestants to choose from. America votes for the Top 7 Live coast to coast.
On Sunday, May 7, ABC said, the Top 7 contestants perform live and viewers can cast their vote for the Top 5.
