What’s clear, USA Today reported , is that Griner could face “substantial prison time” after being accused of carrying cannabis oil in her luggage. According to the Russian state news agency TASS, a court has extended Griner’s detention until May 19 and drug offenders in Russia can be subject to up to 10 years in prison.

What’s truly mind-blowing is that those in charge seem to be missing out on chances to make more money.
