JUST IN: The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning in the East San Diego County mountains, including the communities of Alpine, Julian, Pine Valley and Descanso.
Early low clouds and fog are creating misty conditions across the county. Clouds will be very tough to clear the coast today, staying mostly cloudy through the afternoon. Inland valleys will see more sun later today, then possibly more clouds moving in from any storms that develop over the mountains.
Moisture to our East may help initiate some storms over the mountains this afternoon, some of which could have a chance to drift into the foothills. We will keep an eye on the any showers or storms possibly drifting into our inland valleys later today but most will stay dry.Weather Stories
