The all-electric Fisker Alaska pickup truck will be like 'if Ferrari were to do a pickup' its CEO says, adding that it will still have pickup proportions car auto cars
The CEO added that, despite the performance aspirations of the Alaska, it will have proper pickup proportions, meaning adequate ride height, ground clearance, and stance, albeit with a “really sporty look.”
While those design cues don’t necessarily suggest track performance, Ford has proven that a big, tall truck can still look sporty with off-road vehicles like the Ranger Raptor and the F-150 Raptor R.vehicles, the Alaska will also have “really clever” features to make it more practical for owners.
Like the Fisker Ocean, the Alaska pickup will be able to carry long loads with a pass-through window, and may be able to fold its rear seats down to make more room in the bed—a bit like the Chevrolet Avalanche. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait to find out what else Fisker has planned for the truck. The automaker has not yet announced when it will reveal what it has been working on as part of the Alaska program, but more information is expected soon.
