For 33 years, sprinters have been chasing records set by Flo-Jo, and some are getting closer.

Florence Griffith Joyner's Olympic records could be broken in Tokyo, the late athlete's husband, Al Joyner, told the Associated Press.

The record breaker could be Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica, a sprinter known as"the Mommy Rocker." She became the second-fastest woman in history when she clocked in at 10.63 in June. Her teammate Elaine Thompson-Herah went 10.71 in July, with Sha'Carr Richardson turning in a 10.72 in April. Joyner's Olympic record of 10.62 was set on September 24, 1988.
