Sources close to the movie’s production have said that rather than cut the NSFW scene, a CGI-edited version was released across the Middle East and India.
The insider added that the film cuts were created “per usual business practice” so they could debut in certain other countries.Elsewhere in the film, Pugh is depicted while engaged in intercourse with the main character, as she urges him to read aloud verses from a copy of “Bhagavad Gita” on Oppenheimer’s shelf.
“As per social media reports, a scene in the movie shows a woman [making] a man read ‘Bhagwad Geeta’ aloud while getting over him and doing sexual intercourse,” the memo said.
