One of the top football recruits in the country for the 2024 class has committed to Colorado.
Considered an elite prospect at cornerback and receiver, Butler is likely to play on offense at CU. He is rated as the No. 95 overall prospect in the country for the 2024 class by the 247Sports.com composite rankings, which also has him ranked No. 12 in the state of California. Butler verbally committed to USC on Jan. 29, 2022, but de-committed on Jan. 11.
As a junior last year, Butler caught 38 passes for 830 yards and 13 touchdowns, averaging 21.8 yards per reception. He also rushed the ball twice for 60 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, he had 15 tackles and one interception. Butler’s father, Robb, played with current CU head coach Deion Sanders with the Baltimore Ravens in 2005.
