Commonwealth Court is being asked by members of the conservative Patriots organization to overturn the Lycoming County court decision.
WILLIAMSPORT – It has been nearly three years since then President Trump handily won Lycoming County in his unsuccessful bid for reelection.
The judge further found Houser and Burns did not strictly adhere to the statutory requirements for contesting an election after the results are certified. The case defendants are county, its election board, voter services director Forrest K. Lehman and Commissioners Scott L. Metzger, Tony R. Mussare and Richard Mirabito.
Houser and Burns claim the commissioners were presented evidence of specific vote irregularities but they failed to investigate them.
