Rochester, N.Y. — 25 years after the release of her memoir, a Rochester native and former getaway driver for the Mafia was back in town Monday night as she signed copies of her book at Red Fedele's Brook House. Georgia Durante's memoir, "The Company She Keeps," describes her story of transporting millions of dollars for the mob before escaping her abusive husband with her daughter to become a Hollywood stunt driver."There's a lot of abusive issues, so I think people in that situation — especially young kids, young women — they need to read the book, so they can get a headstart on recognizing when they're going to be in that situation," Durante said.
