Former Vice President Mike Pence's chief of staff met with the House January 6 committee
at 3:40 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, more than 14 hours after the joint session began.
The meeting with Short represents another senior administration official adding to the trove of records the committee is building. , who sits on the January 6 select committee, said earlier this month that the committee has interviewed 400 witnesses and has obtained over 50,000 documents.
