In 2015, Bellis and his wife paid $725,000 for the condo, which is less than two blocks north of Wrigley Field. The condo’s first level has a primary bedroom suite, a living room, a dining room, a wood-burning fireplace and a kitchen with a pantry, an oversized island and stainless steel appliances. The second level, which is the top floor in the building, has a second primary bedroom suite, a large family room with another fireplace, a wet bar and a terrace.
Listing agent Marilyn Knaus of @properties told Elite Street that the house’s sale price in the multiple listing service is $910,000, but owing to some credits relating to a problem with the roof, the recorded sale price was $895,000. “We found a big Cubs fan who was a season ticketholder who gave us an aggressive offer,” Knaus said, referring to the buyer.Goldsborough is a freelance reporter.
