"Your jealousy of this man [Trump] is a constant rage burning within you because you can never rise to the heights that he has," Pirro said. Romney was the Republican party's 2012 presidential nominee but lost in that election to the Democratic incumbent, former President Barack Obama.
Romney cited his faith and his oath of impartiality in his emotional speech from the Senate floor on Wednesday ahead of the historic impeachment vote. With his decision to side with Democrats, the Utah lawmaker became the first senator in U.S. history to vote to remove a president of his own political party.
