“I told them ‘shoot the ball,’ and we go 3 for 22 from 3-point land,” Fredericksburg coach Carrie Grona said. “We’re going to keep shooting. … They put in 100 percent effort, doing everything I asked them to do. That bucket was about this big for us.” Brownsboro coach Jeremy Durham said it took time to adjust because the Billies used a lot of players. Eight of the nine Billies logged at least 11 minutes.
