Eggs were also tossed at the Sholem Aleichem Cultural Center in Norwood in an act of vandalism that coincides with an increase in antisemitic hate crimes across the Big Apple since Hamas terrorists attacked Israel. “This is the first time something like this has happened to our center in 50 years,” Itzik Gottesman, the center’s co-president, told The Post.“We are saddened by the defacing of our building,” Gottesman said.Montefiore Medical Center, which rents space in the building, called the cops around 10:15 p.m. to report the vandalism, police and the co-president said.
