Police said alcohol was a factor in the single-vehicle crash at Kato Road and Auburn Street.
FREMONT – Police are investigating a traffic collision that left a woman dead in mid-May.
The solo-vehicle crash was reported May 12 around 4:30 p.m. at Kato Road and Auburn Street, the Fremont Police Department said in a statement Wednesday. The driver, identified only as a 57-year-old woman, was taken to an area trauma center.Police said alcohol was a factor in the crash. The coroner’s office is working to determine the woman’s cause of death.Check back for updates.
