In the first of its kind initiative the French Tennis Federation will use AI technology to reduce abusive commentary directed at the tournament's players on social media platform.
"The aim is to protect the players and their mental health directly and indirectly – because their entourages can also read these comments – and ban people intent on spreading hate and being aggressive. Tennis is one of the sports most affected by this curse."

The company will also alert organizers to online accounts that are engaging in abusive language or behavior.
