'I love how these people who work for a rapist have no compunction about making accusations of abuse by someone who criticizes the rapist,' Conway tweeted.

, entitled:"'Dirty secret': Scaramucci 'abused staff' and claimed White House officials were having affair." The article cited unnamed sources who reportedly said that Anthony Scaramucci, who briefly served as White House communications director under Trump, had been abusive toward staff and had confronted a female staffer about an alleged affair with a more senior male official.

Scaramucci has become highly critical of Trump and his administration over the past couple of months. He has confirmed that he no longer supports Trump and has argued that more Republicans will abandon the president ahead of the 2020 election. During a Sunday interview with Fox News,Trump loyalists should be deprogrammed as if they are in a cult. He previously said the president was"disassembling a little bit and he's sounding more and more nonsensical.

Conway and his relationship with his wife, who routinely goes on television and in front of reporters to defend Trump and his administration, has been the subject of rampant speculation over the past couple years. While George Conway regularly attacks the president and his policies, Kellyanne Conway is one of his most ardent defenders, often stirring controversy with the remarks she makes to reporters and the media.
