Did you know that not all states observe daylight saving time? States can exempt themselves from the biannual time change.

Smartphones should adjust to the time automatically but you’ll need to set a reminder to manually change clocks on your car radio, oven, alarm clock and the other standalone clocks around your home.

Hawaii and Arizona, for example, don’t observe the clock-changing chore. Texas is not exempt from the time change.
